Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) is running another exciting and ambitious project in 2024, hot on the heels of our very successful collaboration with the South-East branch of CIArb that culminated in the winners of last year?s competition representing CCCU at the world-renowned Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot) in Vienna for the very first time in the University?s history in March this year.
This year?s project features a Workshop for students and practitioners and a Mooting competition for students. Both events are to be held at CCCU.

The
sell-out event of the year. The Kent Law Society Annual Dinner and Awards will take place on Friday 10 May at the Mercure Great Danes Hotel, Hollingbourne, Maidstone. Tickets cost £80 each and include a welcome drink and a choice of starter and main meal at the dinner. Of course, one of the hightlights of the evening will be the announcement of the 2024 winners in the Kent Law Society Annual Awards.
This year's event is being organised by incoming President Scott Neilson and will be hosted by Richard Atkinson.
Scott's chosen charity of the year will be Demelza and he will be aiming to raise as many funds as possible for the charity at the dinner.
